Oakwood Products was born in 1990 when founder Geoff Searl, a true horse enthusiast, set out to create a better saddle cleaner and leather conditioner that met both his own personal and professional standards.

Geoff saw that particularly within the equestrian community there was a need for high quality leather care products that offered exceptional conditioning and protection without leaving greasy, oily stains on clothing. Finding the Perfect Finish

Founded in Scone, the horse capital of Australia, Geoff created a line of products using all-natural, native Australian ingredients with uniquely superior qualities such as eucalyptus oil, beeswax and emu oil. Using his years of experience and working hand-in-hand with professional polo players, Geoff created a leather oil, saddle soap and leather conditioner specially formulated to be non-greasy, non-oily and neutral colored so as not to leave stains.

It wasn’t long before other enthusiasts took note and recognized the new standard for quality, ease and expertise that Oakwood’s products offered, earning them the title of “the perfect finish made simple.”
